Jessy Terrero is a Dominican-American filmmaker and executive producer for music videos, branded, documentary and scripted content. He is the founder of Cinema Giants, a film production company that produces latin urban and pop culture-oriented projects for a wide range of partners and platforms.
Known initially as a music video director, Terrero’s work with pop stars like Maluma, Nicky Jam, Enrique Iglesias, Jennifer Lopez and others, have amassed over 21 billion views.. In 2012, he directed the feature film FREELANCERS starring Robert De Niro and Rapper-turned-actor, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. He also directed GUN starring Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and Val Kilmer, as well as directed and produced comedian Kevin Hart’s debut film SOUL PLANE, a film that also featured the debut of Sofia Vergara and Mo’Nique. With Cinema Giants, Terrero now primarily works as an executive producer, producer and show runner to tell long-form stories that are both scripted and non-scripted.
His most recent international acclaim came with his groundbreaking biopic series, NICKY JAM: EL GANADOR a Netflix Original Series released internationally on November 2018. In 2019 he debuted his feature length documentary film, “MALUMA: LO QUE ERA, LO QUE SOY, LO QUE SERÉ” for YouTube Originals. He also created and executive produced BRAVAS, an original scripted series for YouTube Originals released October 2020.
